Project Blacklight: EfCHProject Blacklight: Escape from Camp Hell
She was running. Towards freedom. She knew the escape would not be easy, but she knew what rewards lie just outside. Humans, groups of them, ran to block her path, only to be knocked away by her rescuer, Andrew. A child turned experiment, with a HUGE grudge against the scientists that had "Modified" him. After being captured, he was "Given" the ability to change into a wolf and back. He now ran ahead, keeping the way clear, and guiding her to freedom.
"This way! This is the way out! Follow me, and you'll be fine!"
He swerved left and right, and she could barely keep up with him. She wondered how he knew the labyrinthine compound so well, but she dismissed it, as it didn't matter. Yet. They passed a map of the building, and she realized he was leading her AWAY from the exit! She stayed silent, praying he knew what he was doing.

"Where am I? How long have I been here? Why is it so dark?"
These were thoughts that ran through the creature's mind as it huddled inside the dark box that enclosed it. She had no idea what had happened, or why she hurt so badly. What she DID know was that she wanted out, but there were things outside that could hurt her. She could hear movement outside of the box. She could also hear voices male voices.
"We've done it! We have created one! We have created an Avis! A fully grown Avis! Oh, the boss will be pleased! Maybe he will give us all raises! Someone get the thing out of its cage, we need to show the boss! As for the captives you, boy! Dispose of them, and bring Project Blacklight to the boss! Do it, now, or we will hurt you, badly. Chapter One: The Dragon Awakes.
That night, I dreamt. At least I thought I was dreaming. As I lay in my bed my room started to change. I was barely awake, and couldn't understand what was happening. The room spun, and I felt a sharp pain rippling through my body. I could feel my skin hardening, separating into scales. My fingernails lengthened, growing, sharpening, and growing into claws! Then a wave of pain swept through my tailbone, which I never saw a use for, and a tail sprouted! My eyes hurt, and I knew they were changing. My skull started shifting, molding to what could only be called a dragon's skull. Stabs of pain near the top warned me of horns forming! I realized I was shrinking! A dragon my age must have been nothing more than a hatchling! Soon, I could fit under the bed! After a while, I was no larger than a mid-sized dog! With my newly enhanced hearing, I heard a group of people approaching the house
5 minutes later,
mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
