War-of-dA: Mission 1War-of-dA: Mission 1
I crept ever closer to the DS base. I was completely focused on my mission. We had received a transmission of a DSer who wanted to change sides, but couldn't escape the base without getting caught. She was now confined to her quarters, and unable to get free. As the mission details ran through my head, I remembered the operation's name.
Operation: Black Rabbit.
I crept closer, aiming for a small crate that had been dropped for me earlier. Mounted on top was a custom rifle, built for silence. I racked the bolt, locking a round in place. "It's...huge! What have we created??"
"It's coming this way! Oh, god! It ATE Steven!"
Underlying the screams of mortally wounded and half eaten men, a demonic laugh echoed through the hallway. The 9ft. Avis stalked down the walkway, eating all who stood before him. Soon after leaving, I heard a terrible ruckus nearby. As I passed, I saw a Chaos Ferret banging on some lids that looked like they were stolen from trash cans. He looked up, chittered a question, then went back to his "Music". I shrugged, then continued on. After recruiting some beginning musicians, and a couple of Muselings, We were ready. We started playing, but something seemed...off. our music was somewhat decent, but as I listened, I found what was missing. We had no drummer! Our music was missing a beat! As I noticed this fact, the music seemed to falter, then descend into chaos! Our audience, small as it was, started to disperse! As I struggled to play better, I heard a chitter by my feet. I looked down, still
